At Surjomukhi, new workers undergo training in sewing and embroidery until they achieve the skill level required for production. Each artisan creates entire products and is compensated based on piece work.
We provide employment opportunities to those who show talent and dedication, ensuring they become multi-skilled artisans. Bangladesh has a rich heritage in crafts and needlework, and we encourage our workers to blend tradition with innovation, embracing new techniques and creative approaches.
Surjomukhi is committed to a safe and hygienic work environment. Additionally, we support our artisans through a social fund that helps cover:
